Sem Break Sept-Oct 2011

Haha ok I think this sort of post is a bit overdue. *ahem*

MY SEM BREAK HAS ARRIVED!!!! WAKAKAKAKA!

Right, so what have I planned to do this holidays? So far:

1. Enjoy watching my AAGG while being home alone on weekday mornings

2. Sleep till lupa dunia (highly impossible but I’ll try my best! Haha)

3. Finish watching the dramas that I’ve abandoned

4. Go exercising everyday (honestly, this is my mom’s idea but I’ll do it anyway, since it’s for my own good if I don’t want to hear ‘oh Zhiying gained weight already’ the next time I meet my relatives/ex-teachers etc)

5. Try to plan that Melaka trip with my college friends. honestly nobody is giving me a definite answer about them really wanting to make it happen so idk..O~o

So this is all for now haha

BM..2years later..

Setelah peperiksaan awam SPM tamat dua tahun yang lalu, boleh dikatakan bahawa says telah meninggalkan alam persekolahan dan juga Bahasa Malaysia. Ini adalah kerana Bahasa Inggeris merupakan....

That’s it, I can’t do it anymore. Oh my goodness, my Malay has rusted worst than I had imagined. So what I’ve originally planned to say in the previous paragraph was..

After my SPM exams two years ago, it can be said that I have left learning Malay. This is because English is the medium in which lessons are conducted.

I am so dead for my Pengajian Malaysia and Pendidikan Moral next semester..

My Dear *Kim Yeolsal

Kim Hyoyeon, the Dancing Queen of Asia's top girls group, Girls' Generation celebrates her 22nd (23rd Korean age) birthday today!

As a SONE I demand for every single birthday to be declared a public holiday! Mainly because this year, my exams coincide with our *Kim Choding's birthday, leaving me with little time to prepare for her birthday post!

I'll keep things short and simple, this is a video I made for our birthday girl today. Its not much but it's the thought that counts right? Right!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HYOYEON!!!
I hope from now on, you'll get the recognition and attention that you deserve and hopefully, be casted as a permanent member of a really good show so that you can show off your charms to the world. I sincerely hope that you will always be silly and help not only the other 8 girls, but also us SONEs, stay fresh!

*Kim Yeolsal: literally meaning Kim 10year old, a nickname given to dear Hyo because of her mischievous character.
*Kim Choding: Choding means little kid, Kim Choding is also another nickname for dear Hyo. the meaning is almost the same as Kim Yeolsal

Aigoo

haha sorry, on hiatus till further notice. but if you can guess what's going to happen in the not so distant future, you can guess when my next post will be =]

***

Edit1:
right, this is just s short notice =] i've been reminiscing on a certain childhood..er..memory, yes, let us call it a memory. And i'm reliving those memories these past couple of days, like I always do when I'm on a mission to look for something to help me kill time.

I am the son, I am the heir
I am human i need to be loved,
Just like everybody else does.
See I've already waited too long
And all my hope is gone

Ring any bells? Rachel, anything? anything at all? haha I'm sure you remember, it's pretty hard to forget them.

Mid

well, i know nobody's going to read this but i'm just posting for fun since, well, its for fun.

exams are well under way and i'm almost at the half way point already. tomorrow will mark the end of my third paper and i'll have about 10days more till the end of my semester2 exams.

so far, let's keep track of what i've done:

1. First paper Macro on 8.9.2011 = the paper was ok i guess, many said they're going to die but i have no comments, as always. i'm not sure whether is it that i didn't read enough and didn't know what was going on or what i wrote were confident wrong guesses or whatever. still, it was ok i guess? not being confident/cocky or anything but its a passable paper

2. Next, Quantitative Techniques 2 9.9.2011 = well, it could've gone better..could've. the events in the previous post happened about 30minutes before time was up and my lecturer happened to pass by and we locked eyes. It was getting kinda boring just sitting there and cracking my already shattered head for ideas on how to get the answers. it was a nice, light moment to get my mind of the blank-ness of my paper in front of me. but still, having said that, i still rate this paper as passable.

so two papers down and tomorrow i'll face my old nemesis, Accounts. i'm never good at it and the only reason why i did so well during Foundation was because it was just the basics and i do well with basics, its the more advanced stuff that's giving me a headache now.

my eye bags/dark circles are quite obvious now and if you knew me long enough, you would know that i never had eye bags in my entire life. i have..er..i'm not sure what you call them in proper terms but in Korea, they're called aegyo fats, which is the fats under your eyes. get what i'm trying to say?

trying to keep awake during the day is a struggle and at night it's even worst. i sleep and wake up at almost the same time everyday (with exception of 9am papers that i wake up at 6am+), my unnie says i'm a healthy kid because of that routine _ _"

anyway, this post turned out longer than i had intended it to be. haha

Edit1:

ok so now my Accounts paper is over and i have to say, it wasn't as scary as i thought it would be. i was practically laughing as i wrote the particular for the cash flow statement because i know it most definitely isn't correct and i really couldn't think of anything else to write, so i bullshitted my way through Section A (40marks btw) laughing at myself helps suppress the sad feeling of not knowing what to write.

Seriously??? haha

So? *wiggle eye brows*

Huh? *one brow raises*

How is it? *raise both brows*

I can’ solve them questions. *eye brows drop*

Aw..it’s ok. *pouts*

Brackish Waters

Every weekend after lunch, a bunch of friends would gather at a hut near a small dock. Dressed in long sleeves, pants, life jackets and not forgetting caps and booties, they helped carried one another’s boats and placed them on a trolley, maneuvering it towards the water. Once in the water, the *rudder and the **center board gets put in place and one by one, they set off on their respective optimists, and each sailed towards the open waters.

They laughed and joked as they raced among themselves around 3 designated buoys that were placed in a triangle shape. Sometimes their instructor just let them be, sailing around on the brackish water, keeping an eye on them while steering his motor boat.

Sometimes they would spot jelly fishes swimming about and being cheeky kids, they opt to slice them in half with their center boards which extended to the bottom of the boat. Then they would just laugh it off.

One of the best parts of sailing was when their instructor would bring them pass the bridge or tell them to park their boats in a single file and tie them up, then hop onto the bridge’s pier to rest. They had always looked forward to going pass the bridge because as they pass it, it offers them shade and shelter from the unforgiving sun. Resting at the pier is even better because the salty breeze is a welcome relief for the young sailors, having been out all afternoon under the sun.

Washing up had always been the most fun moment during the whole sailing process. Each takes turn to hold the hose and aim it at their friends and also wash their boats at the same time. Splashing around, getting the whole area wet and also not forgetting to rinse themselves clean from the salty water they played in before washing up.

It was a typical weekend afternoon for them, and this kid misses it a lot even though she doesn’t like the salty waters now.

*rudder: the steering mechanism of the sail boat

**center board: a long board which is way longer than the height of the boat and is placed in the center through a slot, pertruding at the bottom of the boat, helping it to move straigt

My HK pilgrimage LOL

As you all know, I just got back from Hong Kong! And to be very honest, the whole point of me looking forward to the trip wasn’t because I’m going there, but was because f(x) went there for their Koala filming and made the place fun-looking. (got such word? Haha)

So since the places that they went are tourists’ attractions, I went as well but obviously, what you see on the screen is definitely more fun than what you see in person.

They went to Ocean Park, another theme park in HK besides Disneyland. I found the place that they were running around trying to execute their mission and also saw the souvenirs they wanted to buy! The penguin plushie Luna chose is so freaking CUTE!!!! The price is really cute as well O.O

The girls went to Avenue of Stars in Hong Kong, something like the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It has the stars’ hand prints instead of their names on a star like in Hollywood. The Function girls were there filming their ‘Love Story in Hong Kong’ which cracks me up every time I watch it! cz it’s just so stupid (by stupid I mean silly) and funny and oh-so dorky!

you should check out the video cz its just so damn funny and silly!!

Victoria Peak! They were there too but i didn't manage to get on top of the building like they did because of time constrains. Bummer... T^T but i did go to the Wax Museum! it was so cool! and i can totally recognise the place cz they went as well
