i got the chills

Guess who finally watched Frozen?

Disney has done it again people! And I for one was not going to let this be like Tangled’s case where I totally missed watching it at the movies.

Frozen was everything you can ever ask for, if you’re like myself who grew up watching Disney movies like Cinderella, Bambi, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan etc. Frozen is Disney’s way of reminding us that they are still the boss of animated features, 3D or not. And boy oh boy did they show us who’s boss!

I love Frozen to no end. And no I will not let it go! When the trailer came out, I’m sure everybody agrees with me that it was both hilarious and adorable. And I’m also sure that everybody would also agree that we didn’t really understood what the movie was about.

So here’s what I thought the movie was about:
Anna was the rightful queen but Elsa manage to get some magic powers and took over the kingdom so Anna has to go get her throne back. Or something along those lines.

Man was I mistaken! It was nothing like that! it was a beautiful, literally, story of two sisters and how they support each other when they needed it most. The animation for this movie, don’t even get me started!

It was so beautiful! Elsa’s Let It Go sequence was a masterpiece! I hereby declare her Ice Palace to be one of the new seven wonders of the world! Hahaha! Who knew ice would be so beautiful? And Elsa herself is a work of art! I mean, look at her!! She’s mega pretty! And the way she looked so happy while running up her ice staircase makes me wanna cry because she was finally free to do whatever she wants! /cries/ Elsa!!!! Ah well, time to add her into my ever growing list of fictional crushes haha!!

And I think Disney is going in the direction of sampat-ed princesses. Rapunzel was sampat-ed enough but I think Anna is even more sampat-ed than her! Haha! Don’t you guys think so?!!! She is just a bundle of joy isn’t she? From talking to the paintings to prancing around with that two-face Hans, Anna is a happy and optimistic little thing, isn’t she now? XD

Now, if you would excuse me..it’s 9pm+ and I probably stink to no end so I should go get a cold shower or something..

The cold never bothered me anyway

Oh! Before that, can we take a moment and watch it again for Elsa’s sake? Gyaah!!!! Elsa!! Elsa!! Elsa!! /chants/ Chant with me people! Hahahaha!!! Go Elsa!!

List

we're playing secret santa! i'm feeling both lazy and eggcited at the same time because i've never played it before!

so the other day while i was at the client's place wiht nice senpai and heirs senpai, le friend and other senpais back in the office decided to organise a secret santa game and so et voila, here we are today.

we were each given a wishlist to write on. we are allowed to write three items and then the papers are folded and sealed with tape and put in a pile for us to draw. the guys will draw from the girls pile while we draw from the guys pile. we pick one item from the list and buy it for the list's owner. simple no?

so after a nerve wrecking minute after i drew my list, after having witness my friends and senpais exclaim in horror as they opened and found out whose list they drew, i carefully opened mine.

and what a relief it was. honestly i think i'm the only one out of the lot to be really chilled after the drawing because everybody else was going "OH MY GOD!!!!!!" and "shit! i don't get this list at all!! what does it mean??" while i was just "thank all the gods in the world"

haha i got a list that is both easy and direct. and there's a catch; we must also be that person's guardian angel until Christmas (which was why everybody was expressing their horror earlier haha) i'm just so relieved hahaha

on the side note: i'm going home next week! man, don't you just love it when you have a client that's based in your hometown and your boss sends you there just cz you know the area really well and can take care of things like food and accommodation for your senpais? ikr? i love it too hahahaha so i'll be home until Thursday next week. jeles? XDD can sun bian do the Christmas shopping

Hi hi :D

hey people! hows you doing? i'm doing pretty ok i guess? been working for two months now and i think i've gotten used to it already by now. it's pretty repetitive so adapting wasn't that difficult. seniors are nice as always and also supportive so it makes adapting easy.

we had our company dinner in muar last Friday. it was..warm. honestly they could've chosen a place with air conditioning but the place was pretty so forgiven la.

And then the next day we ninja-ed down south to JB!! i was beyond eggcited for that trip, though i know it's going to be like, super short and tiring but who cares right?!!! XD YOLO and chingoo!!! man i miss that girl a lot. honestly, nobody can read me as well as she can. /cries/ and she still can after so long. talking to her is still as frustrating as ever and man..makes you really nostalgic and all haha

le huge mountain of shaved ice with kiwi, strawberry, longan and mango topped on a pile of red beans inside! mega delish

le customary group pic with le food!

this is a quiche. idk..first time seeing one haha

Senpais

I have a habit of giving people code names when I refer to people online. For example: when I say “chingoo” it refers to my best buddy from Uni. Now finishing our seventh week of intern, I have given a few seniors code names, but not all of them yet..I haven’t figured out what to call the rest at the moment.

1. Nice Senpai (senpai = senior in Japanese)
Nice senpai is awesome! She’s like my fav person in the office aside from my friends! She’s like the best senior EVER! Like I’m serious! Best senior ever! I like her a lot. We were on the same team in my first fieldwork and she taught me a lot of stuff regarding what they usually do, how things work around the office and whatnots. She’s only a year older than us so I think that’s why she clicks with us well. Once, during our very first *no government day in the office, she came and talked/played with us while another friend and I were playing with the comb binding machine. Well, not playing in the sense, we were helping out seniors bind their reports for the clients and she was free so she came over to our tables and chatted while we operated the machine like them slot machines. It was really fun! Nice senpai is probably the only person that I will automatically answer “yes I’m super free, what can I do for you?” if she asks “are you free? Can you help me with something?”  or normally if she wants us to do something new she would ask “are you guys free? Wanna learn how to play with the ___ machine?” haha it’s really fun with her around.

2. Leader Senpai
Leader senpai, at first glance, may look a bit intimidating but she’s really nice and a really good teacher. I call her leader senpai because she was our team leader during our first fieldwork.

3. Annoying Senpai
Annoying senpai cannot stop talking, like for serious, he cannot stop talking. I got so annoyed with him during our first fieldwork I seriously wanted to strangle him in the car. Enough said.

4. Noob Face Senpai
As the name suggests, this senpai face is really noob face. Like seriously, noob faced. We first saw him on our first day when we were having breakfast before going up to the office. We were whispering among ourselves that he might be another intern like us because he seriously looked like one. Spectacles, backpack, neck tie and the whole shebang! Mana tau, when we got to the office, he was a senior. Sien diao straight away haha he’s almost as annoying as Annoying senpai in the sense that he cannot stop hitting on my friend. He has all these really lame borderline disgusting pick-up lines and he cannot shut up like for five minutes. They were tolerable in the beginning but nowadays, they’re just plain disgusting. Pretty sure he’s not being serious but still, if you hear it every single day you would get annoyed by it.

5. Same name senpai
Well, haha this senpai and I have almost the same name, just that his name is “Yi” while mine is “Ying”. I get confused most of the time because I don’t know if the other senpais are calling him or are they calling me or calling him. He’s probably like the guy senpai that gives off the nicest vibe. The other guy senpais in the office are either taken or super 讨人厌 (Tǎo rén yàn). Even my friend agrees
“if la, let’s say la I had to date anybody in the office, I would pick him lor cz he’s the nicest d”

That’s all I got for now. I haven’t given everybody yet. All in all, my office is pretty casual and we’re pretty carefree most of the time, which is nice because it’s totally my style. I really like the seniors a lot (except for number 3 and number 4, I can do without seeing the two of them ever)
