You Could Live Here Now

Hi, hello. Do you still remember? That kid you met in school all those years ago, that one, the one with the shoulder length hair and the slightly cheeky face. Remember that kid?

Well, that kid has grown up now but she still refers herself as a kid I don’t know why. And she hasn’t been updating in decent length posts lately. I wonder why. She’s probably busy or just being lazy or she hasn’t found anything that she wants to tell you guys. Or maybe it’s because she thinks you guys are too busy and won’t check this place out anyway…is that a cobweb I see? /blows/

I’m just here to update you that the kid is doing..pretty well, despite being tired all the time. It’s exhausting being happy, free, confused and lonely at the same time. It’s miserable and magical in a way, if you would believe that.

Why is it exhausting you ask? For one thing, late hours, need I say more? But most of the time, those late hours were products of them chatting in the office while one or two finishes their work and she refuses to leave. Some of the times is due to her friend coming to crash at her place, just because she stays 10 minutes from work and have a queen size bed her friend thinks she can come over anytime she wants with just a 20minute notice via phone call. Nothing new really, happens all the time and it’s not like she can say no. so yes, those sleepovers are really taxing because she’s just so used to being alone that it just throws everything off when there’s another person with her one the bed.

Other times it’s because she went out to play with her frolleagues (friends/colleagues).  They play badminton every Thursday and then after that they go out for late dinner/supper and only go home about 11 or so. Most of the time she’s so glad that the next day is a Friday.

But still, despite being tired and all she still makes time for others. Crazy girl, if I were her I would just tell the world to go away and lock myself up in my room and hibernate the weekend away but that’s not really her style. She still can’t really say no to others so she just suck it up and go along. It’s pretty sad but the funny thing is that she would enjoy herself a lot afterwards. Weird kid.

The kid has also ventured into other new interests besides badminton. For one thing she loves to listen to the soundtracks from movies. No, not those pop songs they used but the scores. There are some really good soundtrack scores from movies like Horn of Plenty from The Hunger Games and also the track from Paperman. Maybe it’s her marching band geek talking but it really is good to listen to. Soothing almost. The latest tracks that she’s currently looping are from Maleficent.

1.       The Christening

2.       The Spindle’s Power

There is no point in this post to be honest. But I do thank you for reading and also if you checked out those two tracks posted, I thank you for that too.
