Foreign

Ok so next semester I will be taking a subject called foreign language and I have a few options, namely Japanese, French, Chinese and Tamil (I think?). a recent conversation with my friends got me thinking ‘What on earth am I going to take next sem?!!’

To be honest, I have thought about it, last year I think? I was going to take Japanese because well, I am more familiar with it and not to brag but I can read and write a little bit. However, Japanese is kinda boring since I’ve already seen the text and it is a bit of a bore.

French on the other hand, is something I’ve never really paid much attention to, but am starting to after I watched a recent duet performance *coughtaenycough* and also X-Men First Class. I’m not very sure if the language they were talking was French or was it Russian but I love the way they roll their ‘R’s. I don’t know why but I’ve always found it very nice when they talk and roll the ‘R’s. It sounds really nice to me somehow. LOL

But the thing is, I’m not familiar with French AT ALL. The most I can say is bonjour and bonsoir, which basically just means hello and good night. I could just take Japanese, something I can already read and write a little (seriously..a LITTLE) or give it up and learn something totally new and risk failing.

Hmm..so what do you guys think? French is really tempting me now
