SIO BAK!!!! WOOHOO!! mom brought sio bak along with the char siew that day! happy dao~!
the sio bak really gave the plain porridge a lot more taste! i didn't even have to add soya sauce later on when i wanted to eat it.
i did put a whole carrot in it to make it sweeter, but half way through cooking, when i was about to put the meat in, i took them out because OMG i cannot stand carrots. yucks. don't know why since young, i've never been a big fan of carrots. i mean, i can eat them with no complains but if given the choice, i would rather not ey.
