I swear I almost died packing last night OTL. I didn’t know I had this much of stuff! I mean, I know I have lots of stuff but I didn’t know it was that much!
Half way through packing and the room still looked pretty much the same. I tell you I seriously wanted to give up and go bathe! I haven’t showered since 10am+ and I’ve been sweating since 4pm when I went over to clean up my new room. I was so sticky and sweaty yesterday, it felt like I was at camp!
About another hour later I was finally done!! OTL you have no idea how relieved I was went I stuffed the last of my junk into the box. It’s like “I CAN FINALLY MANDI!!!” LOL it was already 11pm by the time i finished.
Then this morning, Ru Er, Sze Hao and Tzee Min came over to help me move. It was really nice of them to help me. My sister some more thought they were going to abandon me as an April Fool’s prank. Honestly, I didn’t even thought of that. Sze Hao’s friend asked him too “are you sure your friend is moving? What if it’s a prank?” and he didn’t think about it too. Haha I think none of us thought about the fact that today would be April Fool’s day.
So amazingly, they managed to stuff everything into the car’s trunk. This is like, the first time I’ve seen my trunk so packed! And everything is arranged nicely! Ru Er told me that Sze Hao did the arranging..lol I think his arranging skills can rival that of my mom.
And so my old room is now empty. I’m going to miss it so much!! The new room is so damn hot because one of the walls will be baking under the merciless sun every day from morning till about 2pm when the sun begins to shift westward.
And after loads of rearranging the stuff in my new room..tada~! I can say it’s not bad. Way smaller, but it’s not bad. I’m pretty happy with this room, if only the room isn’t facing the morning sun..lol
