Megan once asked me this during the interview session of our band’s Promotion Test
“How would you want yourself to be remembered?”
I couldn’t answer her properly then, all I could manage to think on the spot was just
“I just want to leave footprints in their hearts”
Yes, I know. I was so corny/cheesy back then but that was the best thing I could come up with in 30seconds. I can do better now.
How would I want myself to be remembered?
I want myself to be remembered as one of the best Section Leaders the Saxophone section has ever had, though I couldn’t teach them music; they taught me instead. I have nothing to be ashamed of.
I wanted to be remembered as the one leader who never really scolded or throw a tantrum at her juniors/members.
I wanted to be remembered as a leader who never bossed anybody around a lot. Compared to the other leaders, I’m such a saint LOL!
Then again, after saying all that, I just wanted to be remembered as somebody my kids (juniors lol) can look up to and also as somebody who was a friend and not one of those bully seniors you see on TV.
My kids were my everything in band. The three of them was why I looked forward to practice a lot, though I wasn’t very chummy with them at first but we worked things out in a couple of weeks or so.
Never had I once thrown a tantrum at them for no reason. I did throw some mini tantrums but I always tell them before hand that I wasn’t in a very good mood (PMS-ing most likely..kekeke) and they understand and so they left me alone for a while. Man my kids are such smart asses! XD
I’m very proud of my three kids.
