That's a wrap!

The new semester has arrived and it has begun! I started the week by changing my timetable to retake the subject that I failed last semester and because of that I have to drop 2 other subjects so that Costing would fit in without clashing with the others.

At first I did feel a bit embarrassed in letting people know that I dropped those subjects to retake Costing. It didn’t really feel good but I’m over it because I realized that there were many others just like me and there is no use in hiding it. So the best thing to do is to tell the others with a smile on your face, to let them know that you have come to terms with the failure and ready to move on.

This week has been a good week. I registered for the parking sticker ballot last week and I got picked! Out of who knows how many hundred that applied, I’m one out of the lucky portion that got picked by the system. The system works on a lucky draw basis. We are given a number upon registration and the system randomly picks out a certain amount and the results are posted in the intranet. I can park within campus ground this semester!! yahoo!!!!

Then on Tuesday night (11pm to be precise) the time I have been waiting for since last year!! Girls’ Generation Day!!! The day they release their much anticipated 3rd full album The Boys after being away on tour since their last release Hoot September last year. Their 3rd album has been gathering a lot of attention prior its release because the title track, The Boys, is produced by Teddy Riley (Google him, I’m a bit too lazy to explain). The music videos, yes videos, were released on Youtube a little after 12AM KST (Korean Standard Time) in Korean and English. Yes, in English! *screams with joy* The album totally blew me away and I totally did not regret sleeping late to listen to the whole album that night.

My class finishes at 11am on Fridays so me and my butt was back in Sitiawan by 2pm. Today (21.10.11) is the Girls’ first performance of The Boys on TV and I’m so happy to be able to watch it on KBS at home instead of streaming it online with shitty internet speed. Though I would’ve preferred being home alone while watching Music Bank but apparently my dad has a knack of disturbing my MuBank watching sessions especially when the girls are up. but who cares!! Totally fangirled in front of him and the TV, fan chanting while the girls were performing and IT WAS AWESOME!

Haha that pretty much sums up my week =]
