I was studying in the living room with my housemate. Why? Well, it’s definitely less distracting than studying in my room, one which is filled with distractions. Everything went well and smoothly before she got up and went to her room to change her clothes. She told me that she was going out for supper with her boyfriend. I nodded and went to get bring my laptop out from my room to online outside.
You see, the internet line in my house hit a snag a few days ago and it still hasn’t recovered. I’m currently using next door’s wifi and it is faster in the living room, that’s why I chose to bring the laptop out that night.
What I didn’t know was that it was drizzling and her boyfriend came in to wait for the rain to stop, since they were going to go out by motorbike. I was like ‘WTH?!’
The two of them sat beside me and I was trying my best not to be a bright lamp post by minding my own business. Thank goodness for my laptop screen for blocking my view of the two of them. I don’t really know what was going on but I definitely don’t want to know.
From my point of view, the two of them were watching something on the boy’s smartphone (Gundum I think). The two were practically glued together watching the small screen, heads rubbing. His arms draped from her shoulders and her head slowly rested on his. Man, it was like reading a fanfic. =.=
It was so awkward, especially for me, I’m not too sure about them though. I was cheering at my seat the moment they left the house. Seriously, please do not PDA in front of me. It’s not that I’m jealous or anything, but I just cannot stand all these mushy-ness.
It got on my nerves somehow, maybe because I don’t like that guy very much. To me, he’s like a show-off. I think the only reason those two are together now because he (an Otaku such as my former self) helped her a lot in her Japanese class earlier this semester.
Yes, this is coming from a hopeless romantic. My gosh.
I am never becoming a lamp post again.
