Hey boys, hey girls,
So sweet together.
What the hell is the alarm ringing so early in the morning!
A figure unwillingly reached out her hand towards the floor, feeling for her phone to off the alarm. She brought up the phone to her face, looking at the time that flashed in the bright screen.
8:00a.m.
Wae?! Wae am I up?
She let the phone slid out of her grip onto the mattress. And then a message came.
From: mom
If the neighbour’s car is parked there, be careful when reversing.
Arasso..
The phone left her grip and she continued to snuggle under the sheets and pillows for another few minutes before sitting up.
Ya hor, I’m taking the car for a service later.
She picked herself up from the bed and went to wash up, then headed down to make breakfast.

‘So the total amount for the service is roughly 420. It will be ready by 12.30pm. Will you be waiting here until it’s done?’
‘Yes, I’ll be at the lounge. Can you give me a call when it’s done?’
‘Of course.’
‘Oh and can you please call this number? It’s my mom, she has some requests regarding the car service.’
‘Of course.’
After the call, the brunette walked towards the lounge, rubbing her eyes to at least look at bit fresh. She took a seat and one of the tables and settled everything on the table; the receipt, water bottle, pouch and her bag.
From the bag, she retrieved a book which she bought yesterday, My Sister’s Keeper.
I rather read this than that.
She looked at the blue file in the bag, filled with her Economics notes.
I’ll read them at home.
She started reading, occasionally glancing at her watch and her surroundings.
She was seated at the centre of a showroom. Large glass windows let the warm sun rays in and lit the area. Images of cars and furniture, as well as human, reflected upon the well kept floor tiles. Children, whose parents were also waiting, ran around the room, playing with their siblings and friends.
At another table, 4 people were having snacks and drinks. She could feel her stomach growl all of a sudden.
Should’ve taken a drink this morning..aigoo
She glanced at her watch. 10.30…one down, two hours to go.
She continued reading her book, letting out numerous yawns in the process.
***
This is so freaking boring…why did I even agree to this?
Stretching her arms out after 2hours of sitting down, she let her eyes wondered again. After all, there was nothing to be done besides sit there.
The snacking people are gone, so are the kids and their parents. Wait..how come I didn’t noticed them gone? Must’ve been paying too much attention to the book. Cheh wa..paying too much attention wor..hehehe if only I can do that with my notes, life would be a breeze.
She chuckled at her own silly thought.
***
12.45pm…why am I not surprised the feller haven’t called.
She waited for another 10minutes before gathering her stuff, and walked towards the counter.
‘Excuse me, is my car done yet?’
‘Ah yes, of course.’
After settling the bill etc, she finally got her keys and left that boring place.
Note to self: do not volunteer to wait anymore.

Jja jjang~ my 4hour adventure at Toyota showroom & service centre this morning. aigoo it was so freaking boring, I would’ve finished half the book if the words weren’t so small. I only finished ¼ of it.
